History

We are manufacturer of medical products for dental implantology and modern dental technology.

Steco-system-technik GmbH & Co. KG is a young company with a long tradition. Founded on October 1.st 1996 our background is goes back to the 1970s. First Steco products were small magnets for retention of dentures or facial prosthesis. The magnets have proven to be an easy to handle solution for patients. The main characteristics are patented. Even today the Titanmagnetics form the most important product group. In the recent years we have developed further product for dental implantology and dental technology.

The inventor of the Titanmagnetics is Hartmut Stemmann (MDT). At first only the customers of his dental laboratory used his invention. From 1993 the founded steco system technik Hartmut Stemmann started marketing the magnets in the German speaking part of Europe.

Since October 1996 the company steco-system-technik GmbH & Co. KG has licensed the production of Titanmagnetics with the patented characteristics.

Beside the Titanmagnetics steco has developed sleeves and tools for implant planning (coOrdination) and dental laboratory equipment (IMAGO) for machining all ceramic dentures.

Steco established a good reputation as universal manufacturer for medical and industrial parts. Beyond this for instance in the laser welding department plastic mould tools up to 1.5t are repaired
